BLINDINGLY GOOD NEWS FROM DESIGNER CONTRACTS
Designer Contracts, one of the UK’s leading furnishing suppliers to housebuilders, has added a luxurious new collection of contemporary fabrics to its blinds and curtains portfolio – and doubled its blind making capacity.
Its updated Fabric Studio Curtain Collection comprises 35 deluxe fabric options and seven elegant voiles, offering a range that includes subtle and delicate pattern choices. They come in 100% polypropylene or mixtures of polypropylene, cotton, viscous and linen.
In addition, the company has expanded its blind production facility to keep pace with growing demand. Its in-house workrooms provide an industry leading ‘order to installation’ service, offering a comprehensive selection of made-to-measure blinds and curtains.
Said commercial director Louise Walters: “With the addition of a second roller blind table, a new roller blind assembly bench, and an extra vertical blind sewing machine, we can now produce twice as many blinds. These enhancements enable us to support our customers more effectively and keep up with the ever-growing demand.
“Over the years we’ve worked hard to make the housebuilder’s job of selling blinds and curtains to house buyers a simple process with prices a fraction of the cost of other custom-made services. We supply blind and curtain information packs that help guide sales staff through the process of dealing with homebuyers. It provides a popular incentive package for developers to offer when, as now, the housing market becomes a little tougher.”
The new curtain Fabric Studio offer comes with a choice of accessories and curtain poles. Curtains are fully lined with blackout linings also available. They can be made with a choice of eyelet, pinch pleat, pencil pleat and wave headers with co-ordinating roman blinds, bed runners and cushions also available.
Completing the window dressing options is the Blind Studio collection that offers a range of window blind choices to suit all tastes and budgets. Each range is kept up to date with all the latest fabrics, styles and fittings.
Said Louise: “Blinds and curtains form a significant part of any room’s décor, as well as controlling light and providing privacy. Choosing them is an important decision for many house buyers, so offering housebuilders a streamlined, order to installation service, ensures a hassle-free option for everyone involved.”
Designer Contracts operates nationally through its network of regional offices. As well as blinds and curtains, the company is the UK’s largest flooring contractor. It also supplies a selection of curated furniture and lighting packs.
