DESIGNER CONTRACTS NAMES NEW FINANCIAL DIRECTOR
Designer Contracts has announced the appointment of a new financial director, along with six further promotions and new joins.
Mark Williams joins the company as its new FD after working as the financial lead across a range of companies for the past 25 years. His varied career has seen him operating across multiple sectors, from food manufacturing to engineering, retail and agency labour provision.
Said Mark, who lives near the Designer Contracts head office in Chesterfield, Derbyshire: “I have joined DC at a fantastic time with excellent growth potential in the current market. I look forward to helping the team achieve this and hope to develop the finance function in supporting this growth.”
Married with two grown-up children, Mark’s hobbies include clay pigeon shooting, history and learning to play the guitar.
Also joining the company as the new area manager for the South Midlands is Mike Richardson who spent more than 20 years in the print industry before moving into logistics, contract and site management and more recently, UK-based manufacturing and importing, operations and general management.
Vikki Aslett, who has been with the company for seven years as head of installations, is promoted to senior contracts manager for the Thames Medway region. She previously worked for Carpetright for 14 years.
Other promotions in the company include Callum Lee as trainee sales consultant for Thames Medway, Paula Caine-Grierson as finance manager and Robbie Budworth as trainee sales consultant for the South Midlands region. Fiona Mckeever joins the Designer Contracts Scotland team as the new sales manager.
Designer Contracts operates nationally through its network of regional offices. As well as flooring, the company provides blinds and curtains plus furniture and lighting packs.
