BUSINESS AS USUAL FOR DESIGNER CONTRACTS

As England heads into another national lockdown, the UK’s leading largest flooring contractor, Designer Contracts is reassuring customers that it is “business as usual”.

Unlike the first lockdown at the end of March it has been confirmed from an early stage that the construction industry can continue to operate – allowing leading suppliers to the sector to continue supporting their customers.

Said Designer Contracts md, Peter Kelsey: “It is business as usual across our regions which means we are able to continue helping our existing and new customers to receive product when they need it the most.

“We are a Covid Safe Employer and continue to operate with strict social distancing measures in place. While a large proportion of staff are working from home, we are working hard to ensure our customers receive a seamless service.

“We have always held a £2million stockholding at our centrally located distribution facility – recently bolstering this by £500,000 – and we are constantly receiving new deliveries of product. This puts us in the unique position of being able to supply product at short notice to customers across the new build, public, education and hospitality sectors. From carpet, vinyl, LVT and laminate we have huge stocks available and are ready to help.”

Operating across 15 regional outlets throughout the UK, Designer Contracts is now fully compliant with the UK government guidelines on managing the risk of Covid 19 – and has been certified as a ‘Covid Safe’ employer.
