OUT OF THE BLUE WITH DESIGNER CONTRACTS

Designer Contracts, the UK’s largest flooring contractor, has boosted its blue book collection with a new eco-carpet made entirely with yarn from ethically sourced, internationally accredited plastic bottles.

Eco-Abode is one of the latest additions to the company’s popular blue book ranges which offer exclusive-value floorcoverings from top manufacturers under the Designer Contract’s name. Also new to its blue book collection is the entry level carpet range, Promise.

Eco-Abode is a two-ply tufted, cut pile twist made from 100% recycled polyester. Available in a range of 14 warm and cool shades, it comes in 4m and 5m widths and is designed to feel luxurious underfoot while offering the added bonus of saving around 6,400 plastic bottles from landfill for every house where it is used.

Promise is a new, entry level soft twist pile, polypropylene carpet collection which comes in 10 modern colours. Naturally stain resistant, it is an easy-care, bleach cleanable range suitable for busy families and comes in 4m and 5m widths.

Completing the blue book line-up is a colour revamp for the company’s enduring Sensation Original range which will now be called Sensation Original Vol. 2. New colours added are Soft Orchid, Laguna, Mother of Pearl, and Eau de Nil.

Scala Combinations is an addition to Designer Contract’s contract carpet range. It is a collection of four competitively priced carpets, all in one folder. It comprises New Scala Twist, Scala Fun, Scala Marathon and Scala Endurance. The ranges feature 27 different designs and colours, including patterned and plains. All are available in both gel and action back and come in 4m widths.
