DESIGNER CONTRACTS LAUNCHES ALL-STAR AUTUMN RELEASES
Designer Contracts has launched an all-star line-up of LVT’s, vinyls, carpets and engineered wood flooring for Autumn.
With a cast featuring Allura, Hometex Vol. 3, Styletex Vol. 2, Comfytex Deluxe Vol. 2, Adore, Primo Textures and Origins Clic, the show includes exciting newcomers and new-look favourites.
Said commercial director Louise Walters: “We’re constantly reviewing and evolving our portfolio of flooring products to ensure we offer a comprehensive selection of both value-engineered and best-in-class products to cater for all budgets and briefs. We believe these latest releases really fit the bill.”
Taking centre stage is Origins Clic, a well-priced, 12mm engineered wood flooring that is easy to install and bridges the gap between laminate and wood flooring. It uses the same best-in-class fitting system as quality laminate ranges while offering the luxury look and feel of real wood. Designed for easy fitting and cost-conscious pockets, Origins comes with a 15-year residential warranty.
Co-starring are two stylish and luxurious carpet collections, both from the UK.
Adore is a two-ply tufted cut pile in 100% Luxura polyprop. Soft and sumptuous underfoot it is also highly practical, being stain resistant and bleach cleanable. Available in a bank of nine colours it also comes in 4m and 5m widths.
Primo Textures is a stylish three-ply, wool-style, loop pile carpet that is also easy-clean thanks to its 100% Excellon polyprop construction. Available in 10 popular weave designs, its easy-care properties make it the perfect choice for family homes.
Adding to the storyline is a super-tough LVT and three cushioned sheet vinyl collections.
Allura, a luxury vinyl tile collection which combines performance with panache is suitable for heavy domestic/commercial use and comes with a 0.55mm wear layer. It uses advanced production technology and proven PUR protection to ensure maximum durability which also keeps it looking good for years to come. Available in 14 modern wood and stone designs (four of which can be fitted in herringbone), it can be used with underfloor heating.
Hometex Vol 3 is a traditional sheet cushioned vinyl designed to complement a range of different surroundings. Quick and easy to fit over most existing smooth floor coverings, it comes in 14 natural look and feel colourways, including wood and stone. Especially popular is the Sorbonne wood plank design, printed to replicate an authentic rough sawn cut effect. Easy to clean and maintain it has the added benefit of no-seams in rooms under 4m wide.
Styletex Deluxe Vol 2 is another cushioned sheet vinyl which comes in 15 on-trend wood, stone and tile designs. A textile backing, made using 100% recycled material, reduces ambient noise and provides thermal comfort as well as helping to remove subfloor irregularities. Perfect for refurb and new-build projects, the contemporary designs offer the added bonus of saving 10 bottles from entering the ocean for every standard kitchen and bathroom fitted with the product.
Comfytex Deluxe Vol 2 completes the hat trick of cushioned sheet vinyl designs, again featuring natural wood, stone and tile designs in 14 different colourways. As with Styletex Deluxe it comes in a robust 2.8mm thickness, offering a tough, low maintenance floor that is both warm and comfortable underfoot.
